I swear, you could have a dead guy in your living room with stab wounds and you would be holding a bloody knife talking about how there is no "smoking gun" to be found.

You are a hoot!

Amazing at just how much effort he's putting into trying to convince people that do not work for NCAA rules enforcement that UT is totes innocent.

We didn't exactly get any sympathy from opposing fans on here for some of the bullshite the NCAA got us over.....so frick them. I hope the NCAA absolutely wrecks them.

I like you gator, and I enjoy you game threads but you are just wrong on this one sir. Spyre Sports put in the work to be compliant. The Vol Club put in the work to be compliant. The university of Tennessee put in the work to be compliant. It might be compliant by 30 mile and the letter but not spirit of the rules but it is compliant.

This was a poorly thought out move by the NCAA and could cost them major football revenue completely. The smarter play would the low hanging fruit at Florida and Jaden Rashada (not a slight at you), the Debora Tampering stuff between Bama and AZ St, and UGAs ongoing renting cars for staffers to drive drunk in with recruits.

The Florida case would establish their ability to oversee NIL stuff, the Bama thing would allow them to look at portal stuff and UGA case would reign in an out of control program.

I’m just clearing up some obvious misconceptions because too many of y’all seem to believe that Spyre is the Volunteer Club and is headquartered in the UT athletic complex.

I like you too Smokeyone, and we just disagree a little bit here.

I have no problem saying that I could be wrong about this, but if I were a Vol fan I would definitely be less confident than you. I have no confidence that UF isn't going to get hammered by the NCAA either.

The Senate reintroduced an NCAA oversight bill with bipartisan support. Atleast 2 states are taking the NCAA to court now, and the SEC and the Big 10 are exploring their options and looking to protect their interests and members.

You should watch the news sometime.

The thing about the news is you really need to follow it, not just catch a week old headline.

Did the NCAA stop investigating Tennessee for recruiting violations in the last week?

It hasn’t been in the news since the NCAA was forced to release a statement last week. The current thing is the reintroduction of NCAA Accountability Act of 2023 today.

So the news didn’t say anything about the NCAA withdrawing the investigation?

I haven't seen you post a thing here that hasn't had some glaringly, easily-Googleable, incorrect statement.

Why do you feel Spyre is a booster?

Because the NCAA has a rule about this and I linked you to it?

We can only lead you to water, my guy.

Did you read the link?

Because Spyre is a broker. The Volunteer Club is the UTK collective and operates as a booster.

Then your Google app has been hacked or you are not googling things you are assuming are correct.

The NCAA doesn’t announce its dropping an investigation. In theory the NCAA doesn’t announce it’s investigating a school to it releases the the letter of allegations (which UT hasn’t received)

What do you think shoe deals are?

NIL deals weren’t allowed for college kids back in 2019, which was ages ago.

Once again, a fail on your part. I asked you to tell us more about how Nike acted as an Oregon booster and funneled kids to Oregon basketball.

So go ahead and try again.
