I understand why the papers would talk about Jovon, but clearly the players at UGA and BAMA could also cause problems for their schools.
In fairness, this guy never made it onto Bama's campus, never practiced with Bama, and most knew his grades were going to make it tough for him to qualify. I'm not saying Bama is perfect, but if you're counting on trouble for Bama as a result of Brandon Hill then you'll be waiting a long time.

How could I be a money laudnering scumbag if it's impossible to launder money anymore because of all these great financial regulations? I also work in "the field." Your statement is ridiculous. There is a multibillion dollar underground economy, and no amout of regulation has come close to changing that.
What statement is ridiculous? You think some random booster is a top fledge money laudering expert and can hide $200k
One more thing. You obviously do not work in a bank or for any regulator. Large sums of cash in and out or any unusual activity gets looked it dumbass.

Schad is supposed to have some article coming. It was supposed to be today, but they haven't released it. not sure why. Perhaps concern that it would get buried under the ND news. Either way, my buddy at AU told me that when they heard the name Joe Schad their concern went from "potentially damning" to "virtually zero concern". I didn't hear Schad from media contacts. I heard it from AU contacts. They are the ones expected Schad. I'm just sharing their thoughts.

If his story is that weak, I doubt anyone would be worried

I don't think anyone is alleging that someone walked up to an ATM and "withdrawled" 200k.

I never said ATM numbnuts, good one though. Explain to me where you would get this cash exactly? Under a mattress that someone has been stashing away at for years to pay Cam? A Mexican drug deal? You see how ridiculous this sounds? Love to hear your explanation.

Several things for you
1- Add Ole Miss
2- Add Vandy
Both have players from Memphis
3- For MSU it's not secondary. While the punishment may not be harsh, it is considered a major violation.

I love how in 24 hours time, the attitude about this information on this board went from: 1. Breaking news coming tomorrow! Auburn is fricked!! Here it is guys, finally! TO 2. Oh. That's it? Jeez. Meh. TO 3. Well they still might be in trouble anyway, somehow, I dunno TO 4. They probably are in trouble, Auburn hasn't confirmed a NOI so that means that they have one TO 5. Auburn is fricked! here it is guys, finally!! ...and the progression happened with no new information other than an article that had a footnote about a JR's grade change.

Schadd released last night trying to get a leg up on Forde. Was short and nothing new.

That wasn't what Schad has been working on. That was what is referred to in the business as a "set up" piece. Either way, as long as Joe Schad's name is in the by line no one will fear it before they see it.

just wondering if W&L has weighed in yet on memphis... we've heard the drunk, homosexual ramblings of TennStud, but I'm waiting on the all-knowing wizard of the bama interwebs.
