Did they ever admit it last time? Honestly, I don't remember.

I hate Auburn, but I would never hope for this to happen to them. It will have a negative impact on the state and the conference. It's unfortunate and shouldnt be celebrated.
The tards dancing around gleefully thinking Auburn University is going to implode have no clue what they're wishing for.
Don't get me wrong I love to see Auburn lose. I love to see them squirm, but theres a limit that. I think someone seems Hell bent in surpassing this limit and crushing them under heel.
Honestly, I feel the same way. If they take away 2010 from Auburn, it would certainly leave a black eye on the conference. We would no longer have the streak and everyone will assume that every other team in the conference is cheating.

Admit receiving the letter That was my question. Whether they ever received one or admitted to getting one. I couldnt remember if there ever was a letter.

There was never a letter and I don't get this "admit" shite. When you receive the school would not lie about it.

Sorry... I wasn't all wrapped up in the ATPB thread so I don't know the intimate details. I am reasonably certain that a school doesn't have to publish the knowledge thus its not lying and I never cared enough last time to see if they did. Hence the admit to question.
Lighten-up I'm not here to celebrate just to converse.

Talked to bammer employee that is right in the middle of it. Said they talked to a few of their players several weeks back and "asked them some lame questions". Said nothing's will come of it, definitely not from what their guys told them.

You have two separate issues here:
a.) The Memphis thing, which may or may not have a direct tie to Auburn.
b.) The secondary that resulted in Trooper/Luper being taken off the road.

Auburn has an incredible NCAA Compliance Director. He knows how to manage risk and has deep connections since he use to work at the NCAA. I don't expect this to amount to much..

MessageTTsTowelYAHOO's Pat Forde: NCAA is investigating Auburn... LINKquote:According to multiple sources, NCAA investigators have been working for weeks on potential improprieties involving Auburn recruits, players, coaches, representatives of the school's athletic interests and third parties. Assistant coaches Trooper Taylor and Curtis Luper have been scrutinized by the NCAA, sources said. Taylor is the assistant head coach and wide receivers coach, while Luper coaches running backs and is the recruiting coordinator. Both Taylor and Luper were taken off the road recruiting several weeks ago amid the NCAA probe, sources said. Taylor was a finalist this season for national Assistant Coach of the Year honors from the American Football Coaches Association.
Well played...I almost coughed up my chicken marsala on the monitor
AU fffffffffuuuuuccccckkkkkkkkkkkkeeedddd and Cheese_it loses buyout would be icing. I think AU & Clemson are the two biggest stretchers of rules out there....it must be karma because with all the recruiting nuggets & blue chips they both dont do squat with it. Dont deny it AU. I know it, you know it and they know it.
