How are they trying to say this shite started on tigerdroppings. BOL started this shite last week with one of their lifetime membership posters. Now that he said it was " bogus" they are blaming td for it.

Every rumor is automatically assumed to originate with Blue Tuna. Chicken was happy for all the traffic, I'm sure, but that dude has tarred and feathered Tiger Droppings as a loony conspiracy site.
And Blue Tuna did tweet earlier today that Wetzel's interview from today said LSU and Bama were not being pursued by Yahoo right now.
I'll believe some dude named "Charlie Sheen" at WoollyAL.com when he says he heard firsthand what Wetzel said today over believing anything Blue Tuna has to say any day. Ever.

Could you please give me a realistic "recap" of why this thread is 86 pages. Is it just another ATPB?
ETA - last time I checked it was @40ish...?

He said if they had a story, they'd release it.
No offense to Wetzel, but Robinson himself said (in April I believe) that he had been working on a story for months and probably had a few more months of work to do on it, so I'm not buying that comment from Wetzel that they run a story the moment they get it.

Here's the full recap (I posted the first part earlier in this thread, but this is the full post) of what Wetzel said from a dude on WoolyAl.com who claims to have heard the whole interview. Assuming he's telling the truth, Wetzel basically said I'm not telling you who I am or who I'm not investigating.

FWIW....
I just listened to Dan Wetzel on Nashville sports radio about thirty minutes ago. It was a daily show called 3 Hour Lunch with Clay Travis, Blaine Bishop, etc. They were laughing about this exact thread. They said this thread originated on Tiger Droppings and has evolved onto other message boards. Dan Wetzel claims to have no idea how this started and that he has nothing like this brewing. He was laughing at the stupidity of the entire thing and how he would never say that he has a scoop on certain program but this doesn't include these guys or these guys. He said the whole thing was completely a rumor and false.
Again. I just listened to him live discuss this. Just passing this along....

He [Wetzel] didn't say anything about a "10" story. All he said was that yesterday the message boards were exploding about a rumor that he and yahoo were collaborating on a story that would drop the hammer on LSU and another SEC school that many assumed would be either Bama or Auburn. The boards were stating that Arkansas was definitely in the clear. He just laughed at the entire thread that was flying around yesterday. He said he had not worked in collaboration with Yahoo on any such story and if he ever broke a story he would not name one school and only hints of the other school involved much less he would never say that it could be any other school but not this one (Arkansas). He said the whole thing was a farce and he had still been working the Lyles deal. I am paraphrasing but the main radio conversation was about how this message board thread had grown out of control and none of it was true.

Pretty much nothing. An atpb'we got on here with some bs he thought were facts and there went another 10 pages, tuna tweeted something he inferred from a radio interview and there went another 10 pages , and so on. The guy who started this shite on BOL basically now said it was probably bogus but he knows auburn is guilty.
And pretty much a bunch of people citing sources who all come back to tuna.
Wetzel. Came out and said they would not leak any story and laughed at all the rumors.
So this latest rumor originating from BOL is a bunch of bs.

Sorry I haven't read any of this. So did he say the report about a "10" story coming out this Summer was false? Or did he just deny saying it "wasn't Arkansas or Ole Miss"?

All of this shite is like the children's game of telephone. Someone says something, then someone else repeats it and so on and twisting it every step It's getting funny.

People are putting way to much stock in the 7 & 10 story comment.

Wrong according to another article on the 5 stages of grief we are in the angry stage.
quote:
2. Anger
Perhaps the best stage to observe from afar, this is where fan bases turn on the media. With the rise of blogs, it has been fascinating to see fans pick apart stories line-by-line in the hope of finding mistakes, figuring out bias on behalf of the writers or even accusing a rival school of being behind it all. The absolute best is when the local media starts to dig into a school and then they get thrown into the lot of organizations who are only coming after a school because they were successful.
Typical responses from fans: "They're out to get us." "It's not fair!" "It's all the media's fault!" And "This can't happen to us."
What it means: Though there is a little bit of denial, fans have at least moved on and recognized that their program probably did something wrong (but it's nothing like what the media has described). As a wise, green Star Wars character once said, "Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering." Such is the case when a school commits a major NCAA infraction.
Fan bases in this stage: Auburn. Say something about Cam Newton on Finebaum then sit back, listen and you'll understand. Plenty of Ohio State fans are still hovering in the anger stage.

Apparently you don't take a hint no one wants to hear what you have to say. Not bama fans, not lsu, nobody. Now go back to your hole in the atpb.
When bama fans say to please remove the a next to your name, you would think maybe I should just shut up.
