Northerners definitely think we are all fricking ignorant. Made one of my trips to Chicago with a girl friend and we stopped at a grocery store to grab some crap. The lady, in her 40's checking us out, asked where we were from. My friend said Arkansas. The lady stopped scanning our food, looked at her and, I kid you not, says, "Ugh. My son is marrying a girl from Arkansas and I've tried to talk him out of it. I don't like Arkansas. I'll never go down there and visit. People in the South just aren't very smart. I'm really not happy with him."
My friend is gorgeous, has a Ph.D. and a GREAT job. This fricking bitch was in her 40's working at a god damn grocery store talking smack about my friend being from Arkansas. My friend just smiled and said, "Sounds like a smart boy." The lady gave her a frick you to hell look. It was awesome.

Mizzou is like that new kid back in school that talks a bunch of shite telling people their some kind of karate champion or some shite.

So, let me get this straight. You take a trip to Chicago had a run in with a sad person that is mad at the world cause her son is marrying someone from Arkansas and now every northerner is like this one person you ran into? So Mizzou fans are being associated with a pissed off grocery store checkout clerk? I mean since were all northerners right......?

You have a grand champion type point there dawg. Of course, all the "southerners" here has been just so damn polite and inviting to the "new kid". No delusions abound here at the all inclusive camp fire known as the SEC Rant. I just wasted 10 minutes of my life reading through this thread. Regarding the OP, yes, very stupid for Sheldon to open his mouth like he did. I can understand if he feels frustrated with the apparent lack of respect given to the team, but you take care of that by playing Georgia this Saturday, not spouting off on Twitter or to the media.
