how many times did they beat oklahoma over the last 5-10 years? they act as if they EVER won a big xii conference championship. i think uga wins by 10.

Maybe not, but if you think players don't use the internet and read comments off websites your delusional. Hell there may be some on this very website, how would you know? They also have friends that use the internet and I'm sure they talk to them about this stuff also. Wouldn't make much a difference if he was talking to the media or not, the internet is vastly larger than the reporting media. It wouldn't have mattered if he posted it on facebook or twitter, it still would have gotten out there, the reporting media is just a quicker way to the front.

There's is a big difference between what was actually said and what was used in a post for flaming. "If we execute" meaning if, maybe, not always, could happen, may not, if not we don't execute we won't dominate anybody......

The "If we execute" doesn't add much. This is tantamount to saying Mizzou is better than LSU and Bama because even if LSU and Bama "execute" they would still lose convincingly to Mizzou (if they execute)... which is flat out silly.

How many conference championships does Mizzou have in football in the last 10 years? How many BCS bowl appearances? BCS Wins? ...How is that relevance?

Yep....agreed......if Mizzou executes, hopefully they can stay in the game with Alabama. If we play our best games, we should have a great chance to win all on our schedule except for Bama.

Come on fellow Mizzou fans, let's just call it as it is. No matter whether you use the full quote and define your meaning of it...Sheldon fricked up and should of kept his mouth shut.
I do understand his frustration though, because as has been stated, I'm sure each and every member of our team is sick of hearing about how they are about to be arse raped. The time is upon them though to man up and kick alittle arse to prove the naysayers wrong. I hope they do of course, because if us fans are sick of hearing it, just think how they feel about it.

I think Mizzou will be competitive in the East, but I suspect the grind of the SEC schedule will wear them down. Your last 4 games or so are going to seem much tougher than they looked on paper. We'll see.

Our players feel the same way and Sumlin is using everything that the media says for motivation. We are just keeping quiet.
