For safety reasons, the University of Tennessee has asked Auburn's band and cheerleaders not to participate in the Knoxville version of Auburn's traditional Tiger Walk. Fans will still be allowed to greet players before they enter Neyland Stadium, however.

So put the band on the other side of the fans and tell the cheerleaders to gtfo.
It doesn't sound like they are saying you guys can't have it at all.

I have gone to Tiger Walks for 20 years and remember the EPIC 1989 Tiger Walk against Bama as well as my first away Tiger Walk against UF in 1994.

Vols have pissed all over our tradition and think it is ok now that Kiff is their coach. I can't believe it and am not amused.

Good. I'm sure Ball State, West Virginia, Louisiana Tech, and Moo State's awesome defenses have you fully prepared.

tenn really has no excuse for saying no. If Auburn does it at LSU and nothing serious has ever happened then its all good.

Damn! If a couple thousand TnMAU83's make it to Knoxville with attitude, I may have to actually watch this game.

Fancams alone may be worth it.

We have done it everywhere. Even in much tighter confines at the Georgia dome in downtown Atl. The one in 2004 was huge.

i saw the cheerleader post and i'm sure someone else said this but... if your ONLY freaking penalty is not being allowed to have your cheer leaders in the stadium.. for God's sake, do it. it's not an on the field penalty. it won't put you at a disadvantage, and best of all you're saying "FU" to UT...

that being said, i hope auburn loses 3-2 like last year's MSU game except with y'all as the losers.

Did anybody read the reason. The visitors entrance sits on the back of a hill with about an 8-10 foot wide two lane road. There would be nowhere for opposing fans to stand where it wouldn't be against fire code.

I don't think they can do that. Especially if the cheerleaders aren't there. I think she was just spewing some BS
