The SEC's Mt Rushmore of coaching is Bryant, Neyland, Saban, and Spurrier.

I think that's fair.

Spurrier has more SEC championships than Saban

Top 10?
THe fricker is a legend and will be talked about for years.

Spurrier had one big issue. Recruiting. He was lazy about it. In terms of Gameday coaching, he is one of the best of all time. Hands down. If he recruited like Bowden did he would have 4-5 titles. He just was never a big recruiter. Never kissed arse on the trail. He is also an elite builder. He did it at Duke, Florida, and Usc bringing all of them to their peak levels. So he has a special place, but he isn't with Bryant or Neyland. I'd put him second group. Dooley and Spurrier are about the same. Spurrier probably a little stronger.

Sorry I offended you by saying top 10 instead of top 5. Geez.

Bryant and Neyland are below Saban and SOS. it's easy to win when you have 100+ players and they're mostly slow white guys. The players now are wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better than BB or Neyland's years. If they coached now they would probably be on the same level as a Ferentz or Tuberville.

and? Most of the superstars from the 60s and earlier wouldn't even make 2nd string at a big school now. Waht's your point? You judge them based on what they did against similar competition in their own era. If Red Grange played today he'd be mutilated. If our 5th string RB played in the 20s he'd set every record known to man. It doesn't work like that.

Have you ever had a single intelligent thought in your entire life?
Seriously, of all the stupid gator fans, and believe me, there's a plethora of them, you are by far the stupidest.

Florida was crap in the 80s and early 90s
From 1980-1993 Florida ranked 15th nationally in win% going 115-48-3, 70.2%.
At the end of the '89 season, Emmitt Smith had been picked first team All-SEC for three years in a row, was picked as the SEC MVP and was a consensus All-American finishing with over 3,900 yards in his career.
That's not "crap".
Maybe some of us are older than others.

Spurrier being ahead of Neyland is ridiculous. My opinion it's Bryant and Neyland and then everyone else.
Finally, someone that's not a complete fricktard

There is some serious HBC hate bleeding through from the Dawg and Vol fans in this thread.
I wonder why.
