Entire interior OL is back and probably one of the tackles. I don’t see how it’s not going to be better.

I also would think that Ruggs and Smith might come back if Tua does

Not going to happen. Both are first rounders and will not improve their stock next year even if Tua returns.

As noted above, the doctors believe the most likely outcome is that he’ll be ready at some point in the summer. However, no one knows for certain given the seriousness of the injury. That includes NFL teams.

As to the other speculation in the thread, Tua is a different kind of young man. I think he will go pro but nothing would really surprise me. If I were deciding for him, he’d go pro. But if he decides to come back, it would be an incredible story. As Coach Saban said, Godspeed to him and his family. The best I’ve seen at Bama. And a great ambassador for the University.

The press conference isn’t even about the NFL according to BOL. Just making himself available to the media.
Has he always been a drama queen or is this a new development?

How many yards did bama's o put on AU"S
supposedly vaunted defense? Points?
How many sacks did AU have? How many rushing yds did Najee and co. have?
How many passing yds did Mac in his 3td start of his career and 1rst away from home?

Bama has great talent at receiver that's biding their time to star.

Hard to get on the field with 4 hofs ahead of you.

Metchie, Shaver, Tennyson just a couple that have seen some playing time.

Metchie will be on a lot of post season teams
for awards and individually before he's done.

No but we are much better at treating injuries than we were back then.

Doctors say the fact that they could reset the leg at the stadium makes it a lot less likely that he ends up like Bo

Measurables.. He could be if he would shed a lite wt. Also, needs to get on his feet quicker and recognize its better to let the outside rusher go by than letting a lineman or blitzer have a free shot through the A gap. Offsides penalties. All correctable mistakes-techniques.

His problem is he holds the ball too long instead of throwing it away. That is what caused his Hurts.
75-25 he comes back.

It's to ask for privacy and get on top of the media so he can go about his rehab and healing without hundreds of media persons or people disrupting his daily routine. All speculation will be answered at the appropriate time.
He's undergoing a difficult time and an arduous road to recovery. Thus it's a good idea to answer questions while making a blanket statement as to the future and the current needs of him a d his family.

Not fb he tried baseball for a lite bit but wasn't able to perform at anything near the level of a MLB player.

Doesn't matter if he ever get drafted because there is no way he didn't have a couple million dollar insurance policy to protect against injury.

Can't imagine he would even entertain returning to Bama.

Man, you really cleared it up for anyone that was confused about that.

His point was a good one. Everyone is knocking saban for exploiting the kid, but it is the kid’s decision, not saban’s. There is not a coach in America who would not play tua if he was cleared to play by the doctors and he wanted to play.

All of these attacks on Saban’s character are just frustration from getting whipped by him. Just beat him. The character attacks are popular with the mob, but they make the attacker look small to anyone who’s opinion is worthwhile.
