You're in denial. Saban is 70. He had to slow down some time. That time is now. The question is, after his twilight 9-3 10-2 years without a NC, will you make a homerun hire? Probably. But so will LSU, and that's this year... you'll have to compete with us and you won't have anyone close Saban in his prime (he's past it btw)

Well you clearly haven’t watched, Rick. You can argue inconsistent on defense. And you’d be correct. But you’re flat out incorrect to call it the “worst defense” he’s had in some time.
You’d maybe have a point overall, if Saban hadn’t won a national title less than 12 months ago.
Christ, some of y’all are such prisoners of the moment. And regardless, he has a team sitting at 7-1 heading into November. One that replaced a ton of great players from 2020. Even if he was 45 years old, that doesn’t happen over night.
