Teams like them and Indiana can certainly put it together for a game, but it becomes very hard for them in consecutive weeks without the depth or talent.

That's the difference between teams like the G5's, Indiana, Texas Tech, Ole Miss, etc., and the Georgia, A&M, Ohio State, and Oregon's.

Of course, simpletons will see some of these less talented teams win a game or two and insist everything has changed because of NIL.

Meanwhile, TCU made the natty a few years ago. Cincinnati made a 4 team playoff.

I don't fear Tech. I think they are a good team but they also have feasted on teams they have a big talent edge on and they like to run up scores. They also have very limited depth.

Tech has Cody Campbell but they don't have anything close to the kind of money A&M and Texas have. Campbell has dropped some big cash and he's telling a great story but it's still a foundation built on sand.

I will say that Tech is going to the Playoff again next year unless something changes. They don't even play Utah or BYU, just an absolute joke of a schedule.

With Indiana and Texas Tech the big thing is now being considered a legitimate option by higher level players. On field success breeds further success.

For those two programs, it’s a HUGE thing getting a top four playoff spot.

Of course why would you fear Tech. You’re typing on a keyboard never playing a down of football. We are happy you’re fearless. Typing away.
