It certainly isn’t championship caliber, but most college teams are worse on the OL.

People greatly overestimate the average college football team.

I didn’t say there were worse then the average college team. But they’re not good.

It’s only 3 games but as of right now their offense has been bad. The question is could Florida beat them? I’m going with yes. Florida’s strength on defense is their pass rush. Their DL is better then Clemson’s OL. Their QB can’t seem to handle any type of pressure right now.

Sorry for the confusion, I was referring to previous posters saying Clemson is an average team at best, which is simply not the case.

It’s not? They needed a stand to beat Tech at home. How is that the definition of average? All they’ve proven is they have a strong defense and one of the worst offenses. Which..makes it average

I remember some good florida teams that lost to teams like msu and ole miss that went on to have really great seasons.

Maybe you guys are reading too much into your moral victory as well as clemson having a bad day in a rain delayed wet game...

Florida and georgia have the same trajectory, win and your in.

Ok. I will be awaiting their 6-6 finish to the season.

Yes, we will, yet again, name our score vs tech.

It'd be a good game. I'd lean towards Florida in a nail biter right now because they've shown to be competent enough on defense that I bet Clemson would struggle to score. It'd be very low scoring because I don't think Florida would break 150 yards rushing v. them...Emory Jones would have to beat them over the top a few time.

I think Florida can beat every team on the schedule if we play well, and lose to 6 or 7 teams on our schedule if we don't.

Damn, I love college football.

Would it matter?

If they lost a close game to them they would claim it's further proof of their greatness and pop the champagne corks just like they did after losing to Bama.

How does losing at home to AL and beating SFL & FAU trump losing on a neutral field to UGA and beating Tech and SC State. It’s not a great data point either way. We just don’t know.

Yes. I think they definitely would. On a neutral site by 2 TDs at least.

This year you're probably right. After watch 3 games, DJU is not the QB he was hyped up to be. Last Year, he didn't have the same pressure and he also had Travis Etienne to bail him out. I compare DJ to Logan Thomas when he was QB at VT. A lot of physical talent but never became a great QB.

I'm glad the ACC is at a historically bad level this year.

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if NC State beats us this week.
