Dak is taking advantage of what was being built for Romo over the years. Romo got beat the heck up while it was all coming together, and Dak is the beneficiary of it. It's like saying Jalen Hurts is the best QB in bama history.

Wrong and right.

Dak is super talented and delivering at a very high level for a rookie, as is Zeke.

Best two rookie performance from key skill position players I've ever seen.

That said, this may be the best OL since Aikman and Smith were dominating. That OL enabled those two, but denying Daks natural ability and skill is the same as degrading Aikman and Emmetts talent

Are there any other State alums in any of the big three HOFs besides Bailey Howell?

Damn dude. Thanks for sharing. Never knew he balled out in Starkvegas. He was a stud on one of my early 2000's fantasy teams.

Football, maybe some day. Mounds has like 3 pro bowls though, plus DD Lewis and a few others who were beast back in the day.

Baseball obviously is another animal.

And Jerry Rice was born in Starkville and grew up in the nearby community of Crawford, MS.

Yet had nothing to do with msu. He is saying "state", as in msu, not Mississippi

Yeah I knew about Rice. Guy was my favorite player as a kid growing up. Just a classy player and an all around good guy. The league needs more like him. He is a Delta Devil

plus DD Lewis

Dak's got work to do to be the best State guy to play for the Cowboys.

DD played for the Cowboys for 13 years 1968-1981 and has 2 Super Bowl rings.

To this day, he holds the Cowboys playoff record with 27 games played. During his NFL career, Lewis played in 12 NFC Divisional Contests, one NFC Wild Card Contest and nine NFC Championship Games. He made five Super Bowl appearances while winning Super Bowl VI and Super Bowl XII.

Yeah I know, it's just a sad commentary that so many players slipped by us.
