I wasn't ripping him or Auburn- just making a point that Auburn fans can turn on players as well.

Maybe Cox was, but they were always happy with him by the end of the season he never lost to Bama.
I personally liked Cox but Auburn fans got spoiled by the play of Jason Campbell. When Cox came in he was good but he made a lot of stupid mistakes at poor times. Overall you're correct, he was a good QB but you should have heard fans during some of those bad losses

I agree the UT fanbase interest is at an all-time low. Well atleast here in Nashville.

I think Bama and LSU are the worst when it comes to devouring their own players.

Crompdaddy. everyone including myself called for his head in 2008 and early 2009 after UCLA game.(3 interception in 3 straight posession at home against UCLA)
thanks to Bobo and UGA he redeemed himself. after that game, there were apologies to Crompton threads on a weekly basis on volnation.
before 2009 season started when Kiffin said he'll get Crompton drafted I laughed at him. but it looks like he has 50/50 chance of getting drafted in late rounds.

This. I was at that Miss State game where he got booed off the field. Easily the worst experience I've had at a game.
