You made me freeze in mid read. Not many people can do that.

I can't hate on you for grasping at this. Sweet dreams, Hillbilly.

Still not a good coach. Kind of a shitty coach actually

I don't take up for little brother very much, but two of those coaches actually had some success. The one in the middle was a red bull recruiter.
But as my state brethren said in a later post, croom was like all three wrapped into one.
I still can't believe that retard Orangutan lost to croom.

Shula wasn't a bad hire, considering that Croom was the only other option at the time.

Neither was Dooley. Both were stupid (or heroic) to accept positions in impossible situations.

Both sons of coaching legends,
yet with lightweight resumés,
hired only because their AD's previously had made poor hires,
and neither of whom would have sniffed an interview had the job been open on Dec. 1.

Mike Shula wasn't anywhere near one of our better coaches, but on the whole, he wasn't a "bad" coach. He did go 10-2 one year.
And as for the 4 loss season, it was his first year and he was down to Brandon Avalos at QB at one point. Hardly the same as Dooley's failure (and I like Dooley).

i'm gonna have to disagree here... he was below average as an OC at tampa, sucked at bama, sucked as jags qb coach, and pretty much regressed cam last season and got a promotion. he's not a very good coach. i would've taken croom over him even looking back from 2013
