Unless Clemson is also planning on moving to the SEC, what is the point of comparing the Big 12 and the ACC? Both conf Champs play 1-2 games a year, tops. Sometimes 3 if they manage a really good OOC opponent.
Oklahoma is leaving that cushy gig for the SEC, not the ACC. Is that not his point?

No his point is, like most posters here, he's seen us get beatdown in the playoffs a couple of times by an SEC team because we didn't have a complete team, and he's convinced himself that's the real Oklahoma. He's a simpleton like that. Same as 90% of the posters here really.

Arguing with this morn is like arguing with a wall. The big 12 went 6-0 in bowl games …. Ah okay big whoopy…..Oklahoma and Iowa state crushed their opponents in New Years six bowl games. The acc almost didn’t win a single bowl game if I remember correctly . Oklahoma leads Bama 2-1 this century . LSU and Clemson are the only school who has whipped OU this decade. Both won national championships and whipped everyone o their schedules minus Clemson beating Bama by a close score. For you to act like we are not going to come in here and be a factor for conference championships is crazy talk and it just shows how little you actually know about football . Okay the last sec team we played we beat so bad the coach almost went to the nfl from the fallout from the fans and administration . Bama might get their beatdown this year so I wouldn’t spout out of that but pie hole to much.

It must really suck to know that OU can win the Big 12, but cannot even come close to winning a NC (especially against an SEC team). I mean, how many NC has OU won in your lifetime?

Every time OU has played an SEC team for a title or a chance at one, OU has lost. Do not pretend it is just a one time deal. Shoot, even in 1950, when OU was the NC, OU lost to Kentucky

OK, so you use excuses. So all those times, 1950, 2003, 2008, 2018 Rose, and 2018 Orange, that OU played an SEC team, those OU teams were not complete teams, got it.
Here is a fact, the real OU has only won 2 NC since 1980. In case you do not realize, that is over 40 years ago.
We will count NU NC in this fact.
The teams of the Big 12 have won 7 NC since 1980 (Nebraska (3), Colorado (1), Oklahoma (2), and Texas (1).
The teams of the ACC have won 11 (FSU (3), Miami (5), Clemson (3))
I realize that you are defending OU, and it hurts to face the truth, but the facts do not lie. You are looking at the real OU, and have been for over 40+ years
So 90% of the posters here are correct.

OU has to go through an SEC schedule, not something you should take lightly. Remember it is the SEC teams that win most of the titles.
