I didn't say Miles wasn't a good coach.

Miles backed into the least legit national title in modern CFB history. UGA had better seasons/teams in 02, 04, and were just as good in 07. Miles has the most talent in every game he's ever coached at LSU except for maybe a couple of times against Florida during Meyer's run and maybe the last couple of years against bama yet he loses at least two games every year. Miles had a chance last year to move into elite status but completely shite the bed on the biggest stage.

This is called recruiting. Great coaches get the best players.

Fair enough but his first 3-4 years it was Saban's players and those were the upperclassmen that made up his controversial national title team. Once that program gets rolling it recruits itself. LSU is one of the top 3-4 easiest programs to recruit to in the nation. Miles has done a great job sustaining but I still don't think he's anything super special as a coach. Too many bonehead moves and decisions.

Good response, one I would expect from someone who is either 12 or has no way to dispute anything that was said which you are clearly either one or both of those things.

Least legit in modern CFB history?

Has the SEC not been the best conference over the past 10 years in CFB? Did LSU not win the SEC Championship in 2007?

Name a team that deserved to be in the National Championship game in 2007 over the SEC Champion that year.

LSU beat 5 teams that ended the season ranked in the Top 15. Name one team, just one that has done that besides LSU in the last 30 years.

From an "offensive" coach. Thanks for helping prove my point.

Delusion! Usually when a top coach leaves a program falls. What happened when CUM left UF?

Miles first 7 years

41-15 in the SEC
5 10+ win seasons
2 SEC titles
5 top 10 finishes

Richt's first 7 years

40-16 in the SEC
5 10+ win seasons
2 SEC titles
6 top 10 finishes

But yea I'm a real "fricktard" for suggesting it. Carry on with your childish name calling.

Auburn 2004 is one, and they didn't lose to two 5 loss teams either.

Randy, pull your tongue out of Richt's a-hole. He, like you, is a complete joke. Being a nice guy will only get you so far.

National Championships:

Miles: 1
Richt: 0
