So it's only one player? LSU is going to vacate wins and coaches get show causes for one player? Not to mention the coach would be Les Miles.
Moving the goal post now that I gave you facts? That's nice.
That's the public information that we know right now. Just look at the totality of circumstances for the LSU program, which is what this thread is about. This is a complete lack of institutional control by LSU from cheating in recruiting, continuing to employee known cheaters, covering up rape and sexual harassment, etc. etc. I could go on and on. The NCAA needs to look at the whole athletic department and slap LSU with all it's got. Something needs to change over there at LSU and it should start at the top.

There is more information available to the public on the OLOL case.
Funes is finished serving his prison time. So you think more information is going to come out about Funes paying more players?

Remember when Florida fans actually believed that Urban Meyer left due to health concerns?

What is not fact here?
Did Les Miles not sexually harass girls while he was coach at LSU? It's also be investigated that LSU covered it up as you know, it took the USA Today to sue LSU to get the report on Les Miles.
Is LSU not seriously dealing with Title IX issues with football players?
Did Will Wade not state "A strong arse offer?"
Did a former booster not pay a father of a player from money he embezzled from a church?
Please dispute all claims with facts if you have any. You don't, so you'll just continue to ask for more facts.

Everything in the post that I responded to.

LSU's act of clear defiance should be their undoing. Letting a known cheater continue to coach is not going to go well with the NCAA.
Any logical sports program would have fired him back then.
This is also an opinion...

The LSU sports program, as a whole, appears to be in it's worst state ever.

I stated facts, you've yet to give any sort of valid response to said facts. You just state your opinion back at them. Do you have sources? Are you citing anything?
Negative.

Ok here we go:
John Paul Funes is a POS that should still be in jail. He was paying people for no show jobs using OLOL foundation money (not sure where you got that it was a church) and receiving money back from them as a kick back (referred to as money laundering). Yes some of the people that recieved money had connections to the LSU football program, whether it was in the past (Davey) or present (Vadal).
The thing I have yet to see is that there was any connection between these payments and someone in the LSU football program. I would imagine if an LSU staffer lined up a player to get paid by Funes and then Funes asked for some of the money back that would set off alarms.
I'm not denying that LSU players get paid or am I saying that I have a problem with LSU players getting money (I hope they are). I am saying that I don't believe that the OLOL case is some massive player pay scheme that is going to get LSU a death penalty. It was one guy that was greedy and saw a way to steal money for himself.
