and TCU returning most of their team, it's looking like a likely loss for LSU in their season opener. LSU will be starting ALOT of young players. I am already dreading listening to TCU's crap all year next year about how they beat the SEC.

You mean like in 2011? Where our top 4 running backs were Sophmores and Freshman. 2 of our starting WR were Freshmen or Sophmores. A Sophmore Chris Faulk started on the OLine. Sophmores Brockers, Montgomery, Mingo, Logan and a Freshman A.Johnson formed our Defensive Line. Sophmore Kevin Minter started at Linebacker. Sophmores Tyrann Mathieu and Eric Reid started in the backfield. And we had a Freshmen punting the ball for us in Brad Wing.

Yep, losing so many players sucks. Id hate for such a young, hungry team to take us on another run at a National Championship.

State for me the last time you:

(a) beat LSU this millennium,
(b) beat an LSU team headed by the two worst quarterbacks of that millennium, Jefferson and Lee

I'll hang up and listen

I dont want to break off into another topic on LSU losing 3 this year and the state of the program, but I will say that this team did not play as fired up as the 2011 team all year long. From the North Texas game all the way to Clemson, we played uninspired it seemed. Even if we had beaten Bama and had a chance to play Georgia to get to Miami, we did not look like a championship team such as 2011.

With that said, I like the fact that we will be young next year and hungry. We have had top recruiting classes year in and year out and I think the guys who step up in 2013 will be ready to show what they can do. Just look at Jeremy Hill if you need an example of what young, talented, and hungry can do.
