Its weak that so many gumps dont want him to play in that game IMHO.
I want Cam to play. The most epic outcome in all of this would be for him to play, us to beat them anyway, and then Auburn get sent back to the dark ages by the NCAA.

Chance he plays = 95%
chance the win would be vacated anyway = 95%

How many gumps will be celebrating in BDS after AU wins?
I mean, it is awin for Bama regardless of the outcome right? There are a lot of ticket holders here...how many of you are going to the game and will be celebrating after we win?

100 %. I think the NCAA is going to wait and see how the Iron Bowl and SEC championship games play out. If Auburn wins both of those, then I don't think Newton plays in the BCS title game. I don't think they (NCAA) will run the risk of a Reggie Bush/USC repeat.

Might as well,..what are they gonna lose?..another game...
just as soon be 0-12 and beat Bama than be 12-0 and have it all taken away next summer...

Exactly. It's going to come down to a ruling on his eligibility.

Everyone thinking the NCAA will issue a ruling before the BCS title game is seriously deluded. The NCAA has no connection to the BCS and in fact doesn't even recognize a national champion. The BCS, AP, Coaches Poll are all separate entities. The NCAA moves at a snails pace and it will be at least this time next year before any ruling is issued. Just my opinion of course but history is on my side.

The only way he doesn't play is if the NCAA forces Auburn to bench him. Auburn has made up their mind to push the gas pedal to the floor and burn this sum bitch in.
it is going to be like a dragster that wins the race and then his chute doesn't open.

To me it would degrade the players on their team to basically forfeit the game against their rival by playing an ineligible player.

I hope he does play. All other teams had to face him and I'd like to see what our D can do against the best athlete in CFB.

I doubt he plays either against Bama or in the SEC champ game.
