I don’t know about Patrick but I hope Tony is suspended. What he did was wrong and more importantly he is a liability not only in coverage but also in tackling.

Funny how you remember "team vote" but forget that in 2012 the team voted to suspend their best offensive player (Jeremy Hill) for 2 games and in 2011 they voted to suspend their starting QB (Jordan Jefferson) for 4 games.

Well in his defense the Jordan Jefferson vote had more to do with the fact he was the second best QB on the team and Les was too stubborn to bench him.

Which is shocking because their sister/wives beat the shite out of them all the time. Stockholm syndrome I guess.

If you don't want to get hit, don't rush the field while the opposing team is still out there.

Not an excuse. He was there to play the game, not enforce the "no fans on the field rule".

Add that to the fact that he is a grown man and he hit a 16 year old.

You do realize he was suspended, then released from the team right?

After he failed 40 drug tests?

Possession or not, he just returned from suspension for one of the previous games not too long ago.

It's time to move on from him. They say he had the worst defensive rating vs. Auburn. Throw one of the young savages in there.

Spurrier said the same thing for Steven Garcia.

4 suspensions. Zero games missed up until he was let go on the fifth one. I think he missed a few spring scrimmages, though.

Is that how they do it in Death Valley, too?

Tough team rules down on the bayou. Hey honeybadger, how many failed drug tests did you have at LSU?

LSU-Baton Rouge. And institution of "higher" education.

or do they not operate like that?

It will be a disgrace if both see the field.

I am guessing we have a Team Vote.

So the team does regularly vote on suspensions?

Saban would not suspend a starter for murder in a big game.

Well Saban hasn't even addressed it yet despite their being video of it online

Not sure how long it will take before everyone just accepts that Saban's concern is internal. He'll handle discipline designed to correct a behavior internally and not answer to anyone for it.

He would never breach the subject as it would set a precedence for such a thing and would work counter to his "grumpy arse, bite your head off for asking semi-relevant questions only to tell you the same thing (that it's an internal matter)" persona.

Further, he doesn't and won't roll over punishments that are disconnected in time and space. A DUI in Spring doesn't equal a suspension for game 1. A DUI during the season would (may, depending on circumstances of the charge).

It's just how he rolls. He has punished and dismissed plenty of players. He is just not concerned with our view of the action. He will hardly share the verdict, and would never consider explaining the rationale outside of its meant to "correct behavior" and not punish, which means it's individualized to the person and context of the event.

Read into it what we may; he won't lose sleep over our opinions.
