I think as of right now the west is way more stable and talent is flocking to the western half of the division. I think the coaching in the west from top to bottom (minus ole miss) is much better than the east. Saban, Miles, Chiz, Mullen, Patrino

Exodus from the East? I don't think so.

Still some damn good recruiting going on in the East. Premiere type stuff.

They just gotta get corched up!

Ehhh...as of now they won't be "dominate" over the west anytime soon.
WEST
Bama- As long as Saban is there they will contend year in an year out.
LSU- Its our golden age and doesn't look like its coming to an end any time soon.
Arky- QB depth is steadily improving and have a legit coach.
State- Lets see how long they can hang on to Mullen, until he leaves theyre a solid 7-10 win team.
AU- Reigning champs. the end.
Ole Miss- Dammit
East
UF- VERY good coaching hires and look to be headed in the right direction, should be back to championship contenders within 4 years.
Tennessee - Good young talent for the Vols. Also Dooley fits tennessee so well to me. I have a feeling he can bring a crystal ball to rocky top, not within 5 years though.
UGA- Kinda hard to put a finger on UGA, yeah they're getting good recruiting classes but Georgia has always had talent and Richt looks as if he under utilizes it more and more by each year. They just seem to be that school is good but never great.
USCe- Obviously a tremendous coach but I think the gamecocks have an abnormal amount of talent on the roster, I just don't know if they'll always have the quality of players as the do now.(Clowney, Lattimore, Jeffery, Gilmore...etc)
Vandy- Baseball school.
UK- Basketball school.

As of right now though sadly for the east the west looks to be much more dominant over the next 4 years.

Top 3 in the East (UF, UGA, UT) have 34 SEC championships and 11 national championships.

Top 3 in the West (Bama, Auburn, LSU) have 42 SEC championships and 18 national championships.

So, you're wrong sir.

'12 and '13 will be very strong years from the East. It wouldn't surprise me if the SEC Champ came from the East in both of those years.
LSU is going to have A LOT to say in '12.

If UF gets good coaching, they'll be a strong team right away in 2011, and very strong moving forward.

Talent wise, UGA and UF are equal to the best schools in the west. The issue has not been talent.

It's coaching. Richt hasn't been right since 2008, and Meyer should have stayed retired in 2009.

Georgia has 12 SEC titles, not 11, and if you count national titles the way bama does then we 5.

I don't exactly see it that way. This is the way I see the west in about 3-4 years.

WEST
Alabama- As long as Saban is around, they will be among nations elite.
Arkansas- Have great opportunity in '11 and decent team in '12. After that it's back to Liberty Bowls for the Hogs.
Auburn- Along with UT and Fla, one of youngest teams in SEC. They will be a up and down team if things stay the same.
Ole Miss- Should be a consistent 6 or 7 win team with some years of 9 or so as long as Nutt is around.
Miss State- Similar to Arkansas. Have about a two year window. Can't recruit top talent to consistently compete against the big 6.
LSU- Have had a good decade and talent remains, but eventually the luck starts to run out. I think in the next 4 years they will be rebuilding. Not because of talent but it's just the way college football goes. Things go in cycles.

So in next four years.
Alabama - Stable national contender
Auburn- National contender some years but will have some average years as well.
Arkansas- Will be mediocore.
Miss St- Near bottom in SEC.
Ole Miss- Will be mediocore.
LSU- will be rebuilding.

And 1 or 2 good years of relevance after being in the league 20 years makes Arkansas an expert in this?

Arkansas is the Miami of the SEC. They joined the bigger conference for an opportunity to do great things........an don't have anything to show for it.

So Petrino is going to just stop working or just working for the Hogs?

Tennesse is no longer a Big 6 program...MSU and Arky have better coaching than all 3 at this point

When Miles fricks this train up, they'll be able to snatch whatever coach they want
