typical, you post false information and then refuse to fix it or admit. Its your typical post on here, besides the usual response thread

I'd be happy to fix it and admit my faults if you point it out, but I'm not going to take the time to go back a scrutinize every detail of one my posts like you will.

I haven't been on much, so who is what is completely oblivious to me.

Well if you actually read the post you responded to with that, maybe you would have used the correct info, I believe it was also pointed out when you incorrectly posted it before as well. Like I said, typical for you

Just to fill you in, NYCAuburn is basically on my leash, following my posts wherever they go.

Sorry for having a memory. And its pretty easy, just look for an Auburn thread and there you are.

Well you only posted one stat so it should not be hard to find.

Okay. Just for the start, Auburn came into the 2013 IB averaging 36.5 ppg on offense. And Alabama came into the game averaging 9.3 ppg.
I know how you got the 39.5 as you included 3 special teams scores and 1 defensive score. How you got 15.1 ppg for Alabama, I'll never figure out.
But we all know you won't fix anything.

And while you are correct, it doesn't make much sense to me to not include the bowl games after the two played, which is why I included the entire season and not just games up until that point. Including the bowl games actually hurts Alabama because of how poorly they played in the OU game.
I will also admit that I was too lazy to go through game by game and find which scores were from defensive and special touchdowns, because while they matter in a one game scenario, over the course of a season their effects on total averages are mitigated somewhat as shown by the mere 3 ppg of the one you calculated.
Thanks for pointing all that out. Good stuff.

Does it make sense to include another game in that average as well? Ill let you find the flaw

Yet you have no problem chastising people for why you didnt include them in the Auburn score

I fail to see how this is bad.
Auburn scores a shite ton against FCS schools, Alabama doesn't allow many points to them. It would just increase the extremes both ways.

from this link.
If this is the link you used for Alabama's scoring defense, where the hell did you get 39.5 for Auburn's scoring offense? That link shows 38.3 ppg, not 39.5 as you claimed which includes the 62 vs WCU.
Wait, you included Auburn's game against Western Carolina in your 2013 Auburn offensive average, but excluded Alabama's game against Chattanooga to shift the numbers in favor of Saban?
You also include the kick six in Auburn's total numbers on the year, but exclude it in the Saban vs Malzahn argument? You don't see the problems you are just ignoring when doing this?
quote:Umm, technically it helps in the Saban vs Malzahn argument as Saban's ppg rose creating a smaller change vs what Malzahn scored on him.
Including the bowl games actually hurts Alabama because of how poorly they played in the OU game.
What else did you purposely change in parameters to make the numbers more skewed in Saban's favor?

1. How many third/fourth down stops did we make to put you into position to attempt (or not attempt) those field goals?
2. How many times did the collective backfield of Nick Marshall, Tre Mason, and Corey Grant embarrass the everloving fool out of CJ Moseley en route to racking up 300 rushing yards against the previously-best rushing defense in the nation?
3. Did y'all not score on a busted-coverage touchdown from the opposite endzone in a similar fashion to the kick return to break the 21-21 tie?
