Just think. If Saban had decided to spurn the NFL and stay at LSU, then by now they might have a legitimate argument to have passed Bama as the greatest SEC program of all time. Instead, he left and then ended up at Bama, which has now effectively lapped the field as the greatest college football program ever. Man, what could have been, right? I bet that eats you up inside.

It's not like he has some kind of emotional tie to Bama, they just offered him more money than anybody else.

He’s been here over a decade. That’s longer than most coaches that people say are “homegrown” spent at their schools.

Coach Saban wanted Miami to draft Drew Brees, but they refused. If Miami had, I think Coach Saban is still coaching there and won at least 2 Super Bowls.

LOL no. Saban and the front office peeps for the Dolphins didn't want to sign Brees in FREE AGENCY after he tore his shoulder up because it was too big of a risk in their mind. Good try though
