No, my point is that with any injury involving a major joint, you shouldn’t play until it’s healed. Even with ACL tears it’s better to just have surgery and be out. Having a fricked up knee all life if pointless for a game of football.

The punter was told that he could do no further harm to his knee. The ACL was torn completely. They told him if he could stand the pain that he could play. If not then he could have surgery. He chose to play with a big brace on it. And did a fantastic job. Tua probably was given a similar choice last week and chose to try to play.

What is your definition of injury sir? I venture to say that after 8 football games 50% of the players on any given team are injured to some degree. Your preoccupation with Tua has skewed your reasoning ability. I say this because many Alabama football players have left games after being dinged, and I do not recall your rants insisting they stay inactive until healed.

There is where I think the misunderstang lies...You are having trouble understanding that players moving on to the NFL (ie., Alabama players), get medical evaluations, while players moving on to insurance sales (like Auburn players) just go and heal up after the season.
