Outside of South Panola they don't lead for any Mississippi kids.

Well no shite. We had 2 good years and it payed off for us recently in recruiting. We had a bad year last year and MSU had a good year and has hype for this year. That has a lot to do with it. The good thing for us this year is that the depth of talent is not there in the state this year so if we pull either Quay or Ward and finish in the top 30 with filling our needs, I'll move along to next years class.

I think state fans should bite their tongues till NSD. Remember what happened last year?

You mean two players that switched to Ole Miss? One that is from SP? It's been blown way out of proportion...and most of the kids still left on the board aren't from OM strongholds.

The only surprise switch was C.J. Quit acting like you flipped a whole class...and you said from the min. Snoop committed after the UF game that he would end up at Ole Miss.

I've never said anything about "flipping" a whole class. That would imply that you HAD them.

Ole Miss lead for the majority from that start. That's what happens when the top talent is from Panola, Madison Central, and whereever Moncrief was from. Like I said, the only switch was C.J.

Right...and Ole Miss isn't a factor this year. You can piggy back all you want on Memphis' statement but in the end your coach has only gotten the majority of the DD once since Mullen has been hired.

Go back and look at the DD players with more than 2 BCS offers and see who got more of them.

I know Ole Miss isn't a factor in MS recruiting this year. We've already stated that. But you and Bundy are making it out to be like Nutt is on his knees begging all MSU recruits to come to Oxford.

We're recruiting a very small amount of MS kids this year. I fully concede that Mullen will "Own" the state in recruiting this year. But do try to not stroke yourself too hard at the thought of it.

......kinda like you're doing right now over Ward going to Starkville for camp over Oxford even though he's been to Oxford countless times.

Kind of like Rob Johnson, Kaleb Eulls, Michael Carr, Nick Griffin, Damien Robinson, Tyler Russell, Chad Bumphis, Fletcher Cox, Josh Boyd, Chris Smith, Nickoe Whitley, etc.?

Right.

Then say that and don't act like a bitch by piggy backing on factually incorrect statements. BTW, you STILL haven't given credit to SS for his pictures you used on your blog.

Same can be said for James and not making LSU's camp.

The difference is State's are actually on the field and making differences as freshmen/sophomores. Should be fun watching Bennett try to keep future NFL olinemen off of young C.J.
