Will Oklahoma ever catch up to Missouri in the SEC?
Will they wear their seatbelts when trying?

This MB needs a stupidity filter.

Mizzou is 17-9 and played in the SEC.
Funny how Misery was roadkill in the Biig XII
Why was that? NIL and transfer portal rule change just started and that is why Mizzou is ranked right now in the polls. Ole Miss is another team that was able to take advantage of the NIL and transfer portal rule change. That is two teams that are highly ranked right now. In the past there were no NIL and transfer rule changes to help Mizzou and Ole Miss. There are others that also benefit from the NIL and transfer rule change that were not a good/great football team. NIL and transfer rule change is the new norm and so that will also help keep Mizzou, Ole Miss, and others to continue to compete with the same top teams from the past. This is making college football more competitive.

Mizzou has been an SEC member since 2012. Some might even say they are old money in this conference. Regardless, they've compiled a whopping 47 conference victories in this esteemed league since they joined. With just 8 opportunities per year, they've managed to win at almost a .500 clip in the world's toughest college football conference.
Oklahoma is barely an SEC member. Joining the SEC as Texas' additional baggage in 2024, they've compiled 0 conference victories in this esteemed league. They'll have 8 chances this year, to get their very first, but they are starting from ground zero.
Missouri is on a meteoric trajectory. Led by the Coaching Wizard known as Eli Drinkwitz, Mizzou is coming off of an 11-2 NY6 bowl winning campaign, and recruiting has never been better in Columbia. In fact, Missouri has repeatedly outbid Oklahoma for recruits due to Oklahoma's either ineffective or simply inferior recruiting budget.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma is on the downside of recovering from Bob Stoops' retirement. Their current coach, Brett Vegetables, has struggled to maintain the same momentum as the Sooners have long enjoyed throughout their proud history. They now join a legitimate conference, and have already been dominated on the recruiting trail by the red headed step child of said conference for the last few years. This does not bode well for their transition from AAA to the Major Leagues.
With that brief context in mind, will Oklahoma ever be able to catch the Mighty Missouri Tigers in success in SEC play?
You are in immediate danger of going into a K-hole and never coming back. Dial back usage and dose immediately. It's sad when people can't control their addiction.

OU vs UM
It’s MU. Remember that we let you into the MVC and later made you change your name to “OU”.

And Ironically, even then, you all couldn't beat OU consistently.

Mizzou and aggot combined for 1 football title in the Big 12, and their fanbases still insist they were added to the SEC because of their football prowess.

I’ve not seen one post in this forum claiming the two teams were added due to their “football prowess.”
Anyone who knows even the slightest thing about the addition of those two teams knows Slive was laying the groundwork for negotiations with ESPN to launch the SEC Network and needed the additional cable subscribers for leverage. His move was wildly successful.
Google it and learn a little about how the business of college football works.
