Think about a GA Tech type...just as an example....as if they don't have multi-millionaires with the ability to pay for play that graduated from there / support that program. North Carolina another example.

Most millionaires are millionaires because they're stingy with their money. Most of them don't invest their money if there's no chance to make a profit off their investment.

Kentucky is a charter member and culturally as southern as it gets.

That's bullshite. Kentucky, culturally is nothing like the majority of the southern states. Neither is North Eastern TN, but we're stuck with that bullshite.

You’re wrong. But if you want to play that game Louisiana is culturally different from other Southern States because of the huge Catholic population and French influence. And I am not disparaging the Catholic faith! I am merely making the point there are variations among the States. That is no freaking reason to throw out a charter member. But by all means, start a petition to throw out Kentucky. Start by writing the Commissioner and then lobby all the other SEC Presidents to follow you, including LSU’s President.

$130,000 is not $180,000.

Key words: "Verified", "got caught". $250k for a DL. What were they paying for QBs?

There shouldn't be any teams north of Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Tennessee in the SEC.

The SEC was founded in Knoxville. Football began before 2003.

Don’t get your depends in a wad. No one is throwing Kentucky out. They just should’ve never been included if we’re going by geography and cultural fit.

It could back fire, some schools will spend a bunch but let's be honest, between injuries and busts, you can waste tons of money on players and still not get there.

Agree. He should have been polite and said colored.
