Will Indiana be the new model for recruiting and roster building?

With the way the portal and NIL are, should there be significantly leas focus on high school recruiting and more emphasis on getting older more physically mature players with college experience?

Wonder if this will hurt expectations of time tables for turning it around though

Can't imagine what Indiana did in 2 years is very repeatable.

They are basically jmu

I think the “big” schools will start using this model and then the Indianas will go back to their historic norm.

I don't doubt it. I think the money men will tire of spending $5 million for a high school class of 5 and 4 stars to watch just two or three of them actually make an impact the following year... and then have to pay them to stay.

Pay big for the very few high schoolers that will play on Day 1, otherwise go to the portal for experience, and develop cheap 3 star high school recruits in the meantime.

Lots of teams are trying this, but there’s only one Curt Cignetti.

Total execution and discipline. No taunting, just physical death. He is a HOF coach with his resume if he pulls off the 16-0 run.
