the wide open offense that Gus likes to run is not happening yet and it wont lead to any title run...must have defense first mindset

A once in a generation type QB was found by AU and they will have him under center next year and AU has 35 yr old 9th year seniors on the Oline?

ehhh, 3/10. For the record, I'm just saying a defense first mindset isn't necessary. Other "wide open" offensive teams (besides AU 2010) have made a run at the title.

Auburn will do OK if they can keep Ellis Johnson out of the way.

Auburn will definitely improve next season but Ole Miss will be a better team overall. No doubt Gus will bring a potent offense and get things on track at AU but their defense is still a big question mark.

Gotta be the Piggies. I think they hired really well, and the defense should be much better. Not saying they are gonna set the world on fire, but John L Freaking Smith was the last man at the helm of the Ship for petes sake. Anything will be an upgrade.
