That and the only team who won a NC with a player who should have been ineligible to play. And that championship will never be vacated due to the NCAA interpolating their own rules. Meanwhile A.J. Green sits out 4 games for selling a damn jersey.
This should be interdasting.

But they didn't break the streak, which is what this thread is about.

They are well aware of this. It's a weak attempt to deflect from the OP

Georgia fans continuing to complain about Cam Newton just shows how dumb their fans are considering even a Georgia professor claims UGA cheated to win the one and only national championship in their history, and the NCAA did nothing about it.

I also think it is also against the rules to complain about a school breaking the streak when your school was never a part of the streak to begin with

It really is amazing how easily we have collectively let AU off the hook for this.

Well, how about some suggestions about keeping us "on the hook."

It's been discussed plenty - and totally by fans of programs who weren't good enough to get into the championship game.

I think it's fine with AU fans for you to discuss it among yourselves. AU actually was better than any team in the SEC (if you disagree, win your own games) and earned a spot in the national championship game against very high odds. The coaches and players played hard and lost - which one team every year is going to do. The team gave us entertainment and thrills throughout the year.

I think it's hard to have us feel embarrassed or whatever you would have us feel. It's a new season, and Auburn won the SEC and played for the national championship last year. We have excellent coaches, excellent players, excellent recruiting, and fans who support their team.

Keep trying though. Maybe you'll drum up a little blushing icon from someone. I doubt it though.

FIFY.

Auburn was lucky enough to make it to the game but shouldn't have been there. Florida State spotted you 21 points and you still lost.

so you're saying it's the SEC's fault for letting an average team make it to the championship?

It's clearly Nick Saban's fault.

Could make exactly the same statement about Alabama in both 2009 and 2011. You should probably have to forfeit the 2012 championship after it came to light that DJ Fluker took money from a sports agent

Jesus Christ! This again? I think we need to get a representative from the Vatican to give us a ruling on this once and for all?
