Yes. A&M.

Good one.
Bwahahahahaha

If anyone outside of those 5 do it, it will probably be aTm.

That said it is very unlikely.

I’ll be a bit surprised if any other team actually plays in the SECCG in the next decade.

Wow, you legitimately have to go back this far to find these records:

* 1998 to find someone outside those five teams that won a title (Tennessee)
* 1976 to find someone outside those five teams + Tennessee that even claim a title (Kentucky claims one next to Georgia)
* 1963 to find an undisputed champion outside those five teams + Tennessee (Ole Miss)

Tennessee has history, but I just don’t see them winning the SEC anytime soon. A&M has potential, but I don’t see them winning one either. Going to stay with the Big 5 that we have now

Offseason sidebar but who would we take? I have long wanted a team from Virginia and a team from North Carolina but I don’t think we actually take one of either.

With the right coach, aTm could win the SEC. As could Arkansas. From the East, outside of Georgia, Florida and Tennessee, it's tough to find one. South Carolina, maybe. After that .... I just don't see it. I guess I should add Mizzou, since the made the game twice, but ..... nah, I just don't see it.

Agree on A&M but are delusional on arky. No talent to pull from, middle of the pack revenue and spending, hardest division in football etc. Arky isn't winning an sec championship ever, ever!!

That's doubtful. We may expand, but I suspect circumstances will be such that the new teams get aligned in the middle of the pack.

When Arkansas came in, the West was down (they competed against Miss State and later Auburn). When Missouri came in the East was down.
If most of the marquee programs (Big 6) stay good, newcomers will fall due to the schedule, and get established into a new pecking order.

Look at Nebraska in the Big 10- they move a decade earlier, and they are the powerhouse of the Big 10 (sorta like Penn State). But they came in while down, and now they are going to stay a 2nd-3rd tier program.
