I hope the Gamecocks make it in, but NY and Hollywood TV executives would rather have the star power of Alabama versus Notre Dame or Penn State versus Tennessee or Ohio State versus Georgia.
It’s not about fairness. It’s not about what I think should happen.
It is what it is. It’s a playoff for teams to compete in, but it’s also a TV production for them to make money on.
