Because you lost to Ole Miss. You can't put "good" and "lost to Ole Miss" in the same sentence.
Or lose to Auburn for that matter.

We're 11-1 and playing in a BCS Bowl against a big name team. We were 1 play away from another trip to Atlanta and probably Pasadena. How'd LSU's season go?
At least we beat your little brother Auburn.

quote:You Barners are so full of shite with this lucky season. You barely snuck out of Texas A&M, needed two plays that are once in 30 years to beat Bama and Georgia, and were absolutely throttled by LSU. Nobody in the world expects the same results from Auburn next season... Just saying. LSU on the other hand lost by 3 points Georgia in Athens and by 3 in oxford to Ole Miss after losing our core of starters on defense to the NFL. What if Montgomery, Mingo, Reid, Mathieu, Brockers, and Minter had stayed on the team? ........goddamnit I've been hooked
We don't think LSU is really declining, just that the SEC West is back where it should be with Bama/Auburn at the top,

Les miles, why won't Lsu be bad? Les Miles.
You ever heard of the term "They are as good as anybody?"
Well...LSU live and breath that term, they are as good as ANYBODY in the nation.

Consistently fail to deliver in bowl season, etc.

If I called him the "GOAT QB in CFB", I was fricking with someone. He is the GOAT Bama QB though.

You also lose your best olinemen and your best players at lb and in the secondary.
Remember when we lost our starting QB, a first round Offensive Tackle, our starting RB, a first round WR, and a first round DL? We won the title the next year and fielded one of the best defenses ever.

We'll lose no more than two games next season, and the only one that anyone should be predicting as a loss is the Auburn game.
