Why was Lane allowed to delay the game for 5 minutes last night without using a TO?

The worst image of the night was right before the half when he whined to the refs for a solid five minutes. They stopped the game to calm him down, didn’t charge him a timeout, and then didn’t call offsides on LSU when they lined up in the neutral zone as Kentucky scored.
The sense of entitlement was on full display.
