I think it's fair to say Muschamp is doing better than expected. They certainly look better now than Spurrier's last couple of years there. Not that I'm trying to say that he's a better coach than Spurrier. But I can understand the optimism.

Interesting take. A simple google search shows USC is ranked 107 and Mizzou 111 in academics. I don't recall Mizzou ever going to a final 4 or actually winning a Natty since the civil rights movement.

Better? Your school is known as Safe Space U. Your student body and football team forced the resignation of a President for a series of events we don't even know occurred. Your most famous faculty member was fired because she wanted to muscle a kid out of her safe space for asking a question. The enrollment of your student body is dropping quicker than the Junction Boys and you're having to rent empty dorm rooms to fans, at least those who bother showing up to your games. South Carolina may have a mediocre athletic history, but your entire university has become a laughingstock for anyone who isn't a froth-at-the-mouth SJW.
