Well, winning the Egg Bowl was certainly a bigger deal than beating Auburn. At least State was ranked and had won more than zero conference games.

Damn this feels like 08 over again. The egg bowl is a toss up going into the season. A favorite will arise by mid October. This thread is dumb and will be dumb the 150 times it's posted before September.

Too bad the national championship isnt listed by his name. The 3rd string long snapper has a ring too. Urban Meyer is the one to be credited. Dan is perfect for MSU, he was already a little brother before he was hired. Order Restored.

Mullen was the master behind Fla's success. Once Mullen left Fla, Meyer began to falter. Even Dan and the Dogs traveled down to Gainesville and beat that Fla arse, that was lead by Meyer.

Legion Field may not be what it used to be but it has more history than the entire Mississippi State University. I'm not surprised you don't know that.

I still when OM fans claim two games that we won on the field...
It's like bragging about "beating" Alabama in 1993 in games that you actually lost. Wish the NCAA would go back and change all forfeits to vacated wins-- so you punish the teams that committed violations, but you don't reward other teams that lost games.
