Before Jonathan Allen got to 10 sacks this year, Wallace was the last Bama player to have his sack total in double figures. Always loved Gilberry.

He's a really good guy too. There was a story a few weeks ago about him spontaneously buying a family Christmas presents in Best Buy

Yeah I believe he got played a good bit on that '05 squad. Crazy how much talent was on that defense, which was a very senior laden team. Had Charlie Peprah, Roman Harper, Demeco Ryans, Gilberry, Mark Anderson, and Anthony Madison.

Digressing a bit here from Gilberry, but Andre Smith has turned out to be okay for the Bengals. I haven't followed his career since that whole Sugar Bowl debacle, but I heard he had a rough start, then turned out to be a solid RT and got resigned. Idk how he's been since then.

This isn't a response thread. I'm giving a player props and I upvoted your post.

It crazy how much SEC talent is on this Bengal team.

Andrew Whitworth
Dre Kirkpatrick
Jeremy Hill
AJ McCarron
AJ Green
Wallace Gilberry
Reggie Nelson
Andre Smith

More teams need to take their approach on how to build a team.

I'd say people should, but the Steelers are winning with a lot of talent from up north. I know the have Jarvis Jones and Pouncey, but the rest of that squad is basically from B10 teams if I'm not mistaken.

Geno Atkins and Carlos Dunlap are the best two players on Cincy's Defense and you forgot them.
