This the kind of talk that seperates the contenders and the wannabes. LSU and Bama measure success by championships. Arkansas measures success by occasionally beating LSU or Bama.

I hear LSU fans talking about having a history with A&M.
I ain't read the whole thread but fyi... LSU has played Arky more than they have played A&M. More history with Arky.
A&M has played Arky more than they played LSU. More history with Arky. We are more of a rival for the both of you than you are to each other.
The vast majority of the "history" of LSU - Arky is completely meaningless.
The vast majority of LSU - Arky games were played pre-WWII. LSU and Arky played each other 31 times before the start of World War II.
From the start of WWII until 1992, LSU and Arky played each other a grand total of 6 times.
During the same time span of 1939 - 1992, LSU and A&M played each other 34 times.
So........... Can we quit all this great "history" talk between LSU and Arky prior to Arky joining the SEC.

Look, these guys want to go back to the big 12. Let em go and lets take Clemson. They have more FB tradition.

Why is A&M such a big rival for LSU when they haven't played a scheduled game since 1995?

Look two posts above you. Pretty much says it all. Plus it's a Texas school we have a history with. Lots of Tigers in Texas, lots of recruits in Texas, it speaks more to our needs as a program.

A&M vs Arky
Arky Vs LSU
A&M vs LSU
all will be great rivalries in the future. Time to move on.
