I love him because he’s so cute.

I just want to give him a big hug.

Thanks for the info, and my view is now somewhat different.

Prior to your post, I always assumed LSU fans loved Will Wade because he's a high estrogen, beta bitch with a spare tire for all the gay boys to hang onto. I guess I was wrong, at least for some of the LSU fanbase.

But the way the offense is run is nauseating.

Top 10 offense in the nation and as said on the LSU/Bonnies broadcast, better than Gonzaga.

The first several minutes against the Bonnies had me chewing glass.

A lot of teams have bad starts in tournament games. We still scored 76 points vs a very good defense.

Honestly, I get that. His success so far at LSU isn't going to wow a lot of the top programs. But, when compared to our history it's pretty eye opening. Even with all of the strong arse offers, he's still only gotten 4 five star players on the floor so far. Hell, Johnny Jones had Jarelle Martin and Ben Simmons and didn't do shite with them along with the other 4 stars that we had.

Another fun little nugget is that he's had a better start to his LSU career than Coach K at Duke.

If Nick Saban can't win without cheating, then he's not worth the money.

Again, impressive info and I didn't realize any of it. Wade has done a good job. Everyone gives him/LSU shite about it because of the headlines. I can't say I blame Wade for trying to get some 5 star talent at LSU, especially when nearly all of them are for sale. Might not be smart to talk on the phone about it, or even for a head coach to be directly involved with the process, but I can't blame him. To be elite you have to have the players, and the elite players all have their hands out.

I love how being so obnoxiously naive to point that you actually think the University of Alabama has gone through their 100+ year history without cheating in any instance actually puts you on some moral high ground

Get off your horse, you fricking bozo

Yeah, that's the incredibly stupid part about it.

Never, ever be directly involved.

Nobody should be the least bit shocked that all these players are for sale in both CBB and CFB.

I really believe that CBB and CFB would both be better off if players could go straight to the pros out of high school just like MLB. Not that it would stop it entirely but at least those players who want to get paid and have zero desire to stay in school could cash in.

But the players unions and rich boosters don't want to see it. They like the status quo.

FFS, I can't even think of any time a college baseball program was on probation but perhaps that is just due to lack of media attention. Apparently the Huskies at U-Dub landed on probation for recruiting violations last year. Never would've known if I didn't go looking for programs on probation.

If I understand correctly, the NFL wants the three year rule to remain in place because of the maturity/size difference of the average NFL player vs High School/College kid. BIG difference there. Those kids would get killed.

The NBA I'm not sure about, but I do remember when they could come out of high school directly into the league there was a huge amount of busts. It's better for the kids to grow up some in college and take some coaching before they go to the league. These kids are so dominant in high school they haven't had to learn rely fundamentals, or learn to play the game the way it needs to be played in the NBA in order to be successful. Jmo

This is a good point but I think the main problem is the lack of a real minor league.

Whereas the NBA has made some real strides in developing their feeder leagues and there are good options overseas.

I will allow that football is a slightly different animal, especially in the age of the concussion protocol. But I don't think kids are getting much in the way of development in CBB as a "one and done" that they couldn't just as easily get in the NBA G-League. And if you had more kids going straight to the NBA draft, the G-League would really take off. March Madness would still be every bit as exciting.

I really wish the NBA would adopt the MLB rule of straight to the pros or 3 years out of high sschool.

Fixed it for you.

Here are some of his accomplishments in 4 years after taking over a team that won 2 conference games and was completely torn down and rebought.

I like this. Europe could always be an option for the kids that bust out of the NBA.

I do. He is a cheater. That's the price of doing business in college basketball. All of those other coaches at LSU were cheating too including Johnny Jones.
Where was this perspective in 2010? BlueTuna and this board wanted to burn the Auburn athletic department to the ground because a former MSU player said Cam cost 200k. Now, LSU fans want to play the “cheating is okay, everyone does it” card. You know that’s not going to fly here.
