Who is asking the Arkansas head coach to come to the NFL? No one. Don't worry, Mississippi State can hire him as an analyst after Arkansas fires him mid-season.

Maybe the OP forgot, because he thinks he's being funny, the NFL came and got plenty of college HCs in the past. Not many make the right choice, but they give the NFL a shot.... and sometimes you leave your NFL team in the dark while you are flying off back for a college job because you were about to get fired.

some coaches don't care about coaching in the NFL. look at Saban, he couldn't cut in the NFL.

He must have changed his tune then. Back in 2012 he interviewed with the Philadelphia Eagles for their open HC position while he was in the middle of preparing his ND team for the national championship game against Bama.
