Why isn't Pedo St speaking out? They allowed this mess to go on for a decade+

Supposedly they did a very thorough investigation and as a school they accepted "full responsibility" to avoid the NCAA death penalty. They know if Schiano had any knowledge whatsoever. Why don't they come out and say Schiano was cleared? Don't they owe this to him personally?

Why is Pedo State getting a pass and allowed to sit quietly on the sideline while a guy gets his career trashed if he did nothing wrong there??

How would them saying anything help Schiano?

If they said anything, people would just say it's yet another cover up.

They really don't have anything to do with this. Best to not get involved.

They thought their sins were behind them ... they were wrong.

Some of us will never forget what Pedo State's "tradition" and "history" are built on.

What are they going to say? "yeah, we're still OK with pedophilia as long as the football team is good. Just in case anyone was wondering"

People at PSU got away with this.

Sandusky did it for decades. At toftrees, at locked shower rooms on campus, and even taking kids on trips for away games.

He had a fricking charity to help troubled youth. The whole thing makes me fricking sick. Fact is, there is no way in a town this size more people did not hear or see things that should have made them suspicious.

I cannot tell you how sick it makes me to my stomach living here and hearing people try to defend and excuse people like Paterno.

This was a goddam tragic failure of people failing to do the right thing for all the wrong reasons.

And to top it off, people still fly Paterno banners and have cardboard cutouts of him visible in windows.

Cannot be said any better than you said it.

Sponsored-charity for troubled youth ... and then preyed on them for decades ... the already most vulnerable.

Just Sickening.

Pretty sure Pedo State wants to keep as low a profile as possible. That's why they ordered a shipment of these as company cars:

Most don't realize how isolated that part of Pennsylvania is from the rest of the state. Penn State is in it's own little world.

It absolutely was the accepted culture for PSU football. Sickening.

I agree with you.

People need to understand this is an isolated community in the center of the state.

There is no way this shite was not whispered about for years.

More people from PSU should be in prison, in my view. They valued their image over children. Worried more about lawsuits than the most vulnerable among us.

fricking police reports from the 80's disregarded. Victims told to apologiz for accusations... the shite will stink forever here.
