Sure. But her family has been settled in the state of Alabama for 14 years now. She's been a resident of the state for almost half her life. When they left Baton Rouge in 2004 she was in middle school.

That loyalty has never been tested because daddy is still at Bama. Saban goes to Texas, Notre Dame, USC (or wherever) five years ago and she’s singing a different tune.
Family and/or money > school.

And that loyalty will likely never be tested because it looks like daddy is there to stay until he retires from the sport. And even if he were to leave and your theory holds true, when he retires she'll just go back to cheering for Alabama because a) it's her alma mater and b) she was in a sorority there.

what is hilarious is how her dad is always bullying the media and whining about "rat poison." And lo and behold his daughter drops ten pounds of rat poisoning.

From everything I ever saw and heard, Nick had very little to do with his kids. Once sat down the pew from him and the family at mass at St. Aloysius (it was like clockwork; Nick and the family would come in a few minutes late seemingly every Sunday morning). For the entire mass, Nick Jr. sat with sunglasses on. Nick was either unconcerned or did not notice. The man is a football coach pure and simple.

Substance wise, I believe she was just communicating what a lot of SEC fans and national media were thinking themselves when the possibility broke. She may well be quite the prophetess before the week is over.
