Does LSU want the second best team? Seems to me they want a cupcake.

Nah. Want to play the second best team in the nation and have their Heismen trophy candidate/ best player leave the game on the first offensive series. That sounds more credible than asking to play an outright cupcake...

Sounds about right, but hey shite happens...
Better team didn't win...
Etc...

If roles were reversed, both fanbases would assume each others similar biased/ self serving arguments.

The reality is that it will be feast or famine for Bama. I am biased, but I think it appears to the objective fan that Bama will be screwed with voting shifts at the last hour and then get stuck in a no win situation in the Sugar (Boise or Houston).

Good luck to ya

LSU has won two in a row. Bama is the perfect cupcake.

Absolutely. Never been more afraid in my life. Will do my best to hold it together though.

Excellent stuff. Appreciate the analysis.

Of course all of this just means we're scared though.

Of course. I mean lose to the only good team you play at HOME, rack up tons of wins on a shitty PSU and OOC schedule, collect wins in a down SEC, and you're all of a sudden the best team of the decade according to Bama.

OSU beats more good teams, loses in double OT on the road in strained circumstances, and they suck.

I mean, if you are trying to think about it logically, who cares about the regular season, winning your division, winning your conference. That means nothing.

Let's just say UF got a rematch and won in 1996! Nevermind that they won their division and conference. Nevermind they lost on the road to FSU. Nevermind the game was set up based on bowl tie-ins. Nevermind that ASU who was #2 at the time of bowls lost by 3 in the Rose Bowl at the last second giving UF the title when beating FSU.

All that matters is Bama fans feel they were the better team that somehow lost despite all of their advantages in the game November 5th.
