Let’s not pretend LSU isn’t extraordinarily fortunate in the years they faced UGA
2011 Yes ( Won)
2013 Yes (Lost)
2018 yes (won)
2019 yes (won)
UGA & LSU didn’t play in 2012, 2017, 2020, & 2021 when UGA was clearly better.
And didn’t play in 2014, 2015, 2016 when they were prob close to even

Point is, this year's Bama team is not as good as in prior years. Its been talked about pretty much all season.
So when a team beat's them, I get the excitement, but the conclusion automatically shouldn't be that they are world beaters.

I don’t think we’re the world beaters, but we finally won one of the last minute ones. This match up is almost always one of the best games of the year. I see the Tennessee/ Georgia game becoming one of those games every year too. Let us enjoy this one. Georgia is on top now, but LSU and Tennessee are are in good hands being rebuilt. Alabama will be back next year. I see those four teams competing for the SEC title for the foreseeable future. Those are the old school teams. Texas was once a great program too. So at some point the Texicans might make some noise too
