The most significant difference, IMO, is the OL between UGA and Bama. Gurley being able to succeed in spite of his bad OL is a big deal, at least to me
Before last season, Alabama's OL was ranked as the 8th best in college football and Georgia's was ranked as the 10th best.

so you can be sure before you take this ban bet:
Already said I'm not doing a ban bet. Where did those numbers come from, because I know Gurley an Yeldon have never tested for that website?

I think he can defend himself, hoss.

And exactly how do you know that?

Knew it was only a matter of time before you showed up to an Alabama/UGA thread.

Why would they?
It's just a stupid fan website.

So your first defense is that they are just made up? Are you going to take the ban bet or not? You are getting awfully defensive.

Gurley had a lot of his carries last season while he was slowed. His number would have been bigger had he stayed healthy, even if his carries had not gone up.
If Yeldon is better, he will have the opportunity to prove it.

I've said no twice now.

Gurley is more talented. He plays behind a much worse OL and doesn't have a very talented Defense.

What the hell does this have to do with anything?

And Gurley does? I'll bet my account that Yeldon runs a faster 40 than Gurley at the combine.
I think you would lose. Gurley was a track star in high school. Not sure about Yeldon, though, honestly. They are both very good backs. Why does the back you like HAVE to be ranked higher by people you don't know or care about?

May be, but their production on the field is no different and in this sport that's what counts.
Yes, it is different. maybe not a LOT different, but Gurley's numbers are better.

Because he's a Bama fan, and their players are the best at everything

30 yards and 1 TD

Eyeball test. Gurley just looks like the better back despite similar results. I think Gurley would have even better stats at Alabama and Yeldons stats would suffer a little if he played for Georgia.
Probably a fair assessment considering the offensive lines.
