One freaking job, Kentucky. Just beat Tennessee. But noooooo. Two 4-8 seasons in a row would have been glorious.

Marco Wilson is out so still starting Dean at corner he is okay for a freshman but has issues getting beat at the line by good receivers

The “Florida losing to three ranked teams” theory loses some steam when Florida is getting credit for losing to the team it’s supposedly better than. That’s some serious mental gymnastics. There may be a legitimate reason Florida is ranked higher, the Tennessee loss as a stand alone works, but don’t tell me a team is better than the team it loses to because the team it loses to is ranked. That’s semi-retarded. In fact, remove the semi, that’s straight up retarded.

And actually I don’t accept the Tennessee loss as a legitimate reason unless the Playoff Committee has agreed its rankings are based on teams who are playing best at the end of the season rather than overall body of work (which no matter what some posters claim it HAS said). If you look at SOS, body of work and head to head there is no legitimate reason for the ranking. Again, unless you’re looking for the teams playing best late in the season.
