If folks are gonna bring up old school stuff like spurrier, there is no reason to not bring up the overall.

If you have been alive the entire series then sure . Not sure how games played before you were even alive are as important as ones you watched as a fan .

History only counts if you were alive for it. The entire narrative of this series varies wildly based on whether you're 15 or 75. It's simple dude.

I personally have never said this, but they both could be true. I think most LSU fans would not say their team last year was 20 points better than Georgia, yet most people would say Georgia's team was 19 points better than Florida's.

We don't bring up 1980. Other fan bases do. Florida fans, however bring up their 10 year old National Championships as if they happened this past season.
Obviously, to me, the AP poll takes top honors, but I would take any championship. Why? Has Florida turned down a championship we are unaware of?

That's a pretty dumb take. So history begins whenever you were born. You mean, WWII never happened?
When the next baby is born all other history is suddenly wiped clean...or does history only begin when you were born?

Don’t waste too much time trying to figure it out. It’s much simpler to just know that UGA is a better football team at present and is likely to kick UF’s arse again this fall.

Tied in the AP, a spot or two back in the coaches. Facts are factsm though. We beat you head to head and we won the East. The only reason Florida ended ranked ahead in the coaches is because we won the east and played in the SEC Championship game. Had Florida had that extra loss UGA would have ended ranked higher in both polls. Irony.
