This mythical "window" your fans refer to is bogus. UGA was mediocre the entire decade of hte 90s when UT and UF were going strong but nobody wants to acknowledge that. If bama did in teh 90s what they've done from 2008-2018, there's a chance neither UT or UF have a title in a long, long time.

Mostly because Georgia fans know that their coach's time is limited. They can see the parallels of Richt and Kirby, even if Kirby has better players. Chokes away the biggest games, never seems to be able to cross the finish line in spite of having comparable talent.
They're acting like a change from having #3 talent to #2 talent is going to make any sort of difference, but they all kind of know that if they had hired an actual creative HC they would have easily won a National Championship.
It's just starting to set in, though, and that's why even with all of the success they have they're the easiest to rustle.

We get rustled because the S#it talking is incessant and they are clueless where their program really stands. They need to worry about beating USC and Missouri this year before they start worrying about their daddy. They are going to lose @ LSU, @ USC, VS UGA and @ Missouri. Lose by 14 to LSU and by 21 to UGA.
