Laughing doesn’t make me wrong. I know you think Alabama did but they didn’t do what Auburn just did

And if Auburn doing this is supposed to be a dig at Alabama then it’s even more pathetic

Being wrong makes you wrong. Laughing is just a response.

Why is Auburn waiting until now to claim the fictitious NCs?

why are LSU fans like yoursefl so frickin dumb? Its not that complicated and has nothing to do with bama.

If Auburn went undefeated, were claiming the championship. Thats it. Deal with it.

Alabama claims one questionable title in 1941. Auburn just came up with 7 overnight. You should be embarrassed about claiming 1983, 1993 and 2004. Any non-major poll claim post poll-era is dumb. Alabama’s 1941 claim is dumb. They admit it’s dumb. Now it’s your turn

Based on what i've seen as to the argument that ours our illigitimate, this is factually incorrect.

We just aligned our standards with the nationally recognized standards.

I think claiming '58 is dumb. Feel better?

I’ve asked you to cite specific examples. I’m still waiting

Please elaborate on what the “nationally recognized standard” is. TIA

25, 26, 30 for starters. There are others. There are also probably better claims than those years, which always surprised me when you look at the ones they did claim, including 41.

Using polls that declare you national champion, regardless if said polls were around or established in the year of the season they are declaring you the champion.

The problem is that’s not the “standard” nationally. Because a handful of schools do it doesn’t make it the “standard.”

And even the schools that do it, they don’t claim literally any poll that has ever named them champion. Alabama, for instance, has like 10 unclaimed titles to go along with their 18 claimed titles. If what you said was the “standard” no one would have unclaimed titles which almost everyone (except I guess Auburn now) does. LSU, for instance, has 6 unclaimed titles (I was able to add 1 more now that we’ve discovered the Montgomery End of Season Champion poll the last couple of days).

And fwiw I’m not arguing that there aren’t schools that claim bullshite titles but the depths Auburn has gone is absurd. Most notably, 1958, 1983, 1993, and 2004. You can feel screwed over in 83 and 04 but you were not the national champs based on the nationally and universally recognized systems in place those years. You want to argue about the Wild West prior to the poll era in 1936, have at it, because all title claims prior to 1936 are retroactive claims by everyone. National champions weren’t recognized prior.

Auburn football is in their darkest days since the Barfield era.

No playoff appearances at all. And watching their in state rival having an all time period of dominance...I guess they had to do something. But it won't help Freeze any.

You show your ignorance by lumping '83 in with the rest of those. I'd entertain your argument a whole lot more otherwise.
